Getting started with QueueJump
QueueJump is built for independent food vendors who need a simple, reliable way to take pre-orders for collection.
The goal is straightforward: fewer queues, faster service, and predictable collection windows, without adding operational complexity.
You publish sessions. Customers order in advance. Orders are time-bound. Payments are processed securely. Collection is controlled.
Nothing more than necessary. Nothing less than reliable.
What QueueJump is designed for
QueueJump works best when:
- You operate on a collection-only model.
- You run pop-ups, markets, festivals, or scheduled service sessions.
- You want to manage demand before customers arrive.
- You want card payments handled securely via Stripe.
- You need clarity around VAT and payout timing.
QueueJump is not a marketplace and does not interfere with your brand. Customers order directly from your menu under your trading name.
How it works at a high level
- You add your first outlet.
- You create a menu.
- You add menu items and modifiers.
- You add a location.
- You schedule a session and set ordering and collection timing.
- You publish your session.
- Customers place and pay for orders in advance.
- You prepare and serve without long physical queues.
Totals are calculated server-side. Payments are processed securely. Payouts are handled through Stripe.
The system is designed to reduce ambiguity on busy days.
Before you go live
Before your first live session:
- Follow the onboarding checklist in your dashboard step by step.
- Connect your Stripe account.
- Confirm your trading details and VAT status.
- Create a focused launch menu.
- Set clear ordering and collection windows.
What to expect on event day
QueueJump does not replace your service style. It supports it.
You should expect:
- Fewer payment delays.
- More predictable prep flow.
- Customers arriving within defined windows.
- Clear visibility of what needs to be prepared next.
You remain in control of stock, availability, and session settings.
Responsibilities and compliance
QueueJump provides the ordering and payment infrastructure. You remain responsible for:
- Acting as merchant of record for your sales.
- Food safety obligations.
- VAT compliance (where applicable).
- Fulfilling accepted orders.
- Managing stock and availability.
Customer payments are processed by Stripe to your connected account. QueueJump does not hold your funds and does not replace tax or legal advice.
